Sojourn Academy and Rayitos del Sol exist to support world-wide missions. Sojourn provides quality education to MKs while their parents attend the Spanish Language Institute (ILE ) in preparation to begin work on the mission field. We provide preschool services, as well as grades kindergarten through 12th grade.
Since 1993, the mission of Sojourn Academy has been to provide an environment where children can grow spiritually, socially, physically and academically for the glory of God. We believe that our call is to train students who will edify the Kingdom of God by Making a World of Difference.
Besides offering academics to students of missionaries studying Spanish on the same campus, the school also offers to both nationals and foreigners in Costa Rica the opportunity to join our Sojourn family. Sojourn offers an American-based curriculum to English-speaking students from a variety of countries and courses for Costa Ricans that meet MEP(Ministerio Educacion Publico) educational requirements.
For all students, we offer a Bible-based standard of truth, ethics, and behavior.
